Age 82 of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at home.  She was born June 08, 1944, in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

     Phyllis is preceded in death by:

Husband: James Everett Lawson, Sr.

Son: James Everett Lawson, Jr.

Father: Enoch Adrian Rountree

Mother: Ruby (Moses) Rountree

Brothers: Jimmy & Adrian Rountree, Jr.

Sisters: Nadine Loomis, Maxine Moses, Mildred Bargo, Patricia Napier

     She is survived by:

Daughters: Marietta Fitzgerald & husband Steve, Margaret Burchell

Grandchildren: Aaron James Shelley & wife Toraleah, Clint W. Burchell & wife Lexy

Great Grandchildren: Oliver James Shelley, Jaxon, Maverick & Lawson Burchell

A host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn her passing.

The family will receive friends: 12 - 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Harp Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services at 2 p.m.
