Ms. Louise Smith Obituary

Born August 10, 1920 in Corbin Kentucky, the daughter of Bettie & Charles Wilson.  Died January 4, 2012 in Summerfield Florida.

Louise's journey took her from her roots in Kentucky and Tennessee to California where she lived for 45 years, then to Pennsylvania to be close to family and finally to Florida.  Her heritage and heart always remained with Tennessee.  Louise or Granny as she was called by most was a deeply spirtual person whose love touched many lives.  Her favorite scripture was the 23rd Psalm which held deep meaning and provided much comfort for her.  In addition to scriptures, a large part of Louise's life was music and singing, especially hymns.  Amazing Grace was soul felt.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband Kelly E. Smith Jr. of Jellico; also preceding her were: sister Lula Mae Lopez; brothers Paul Clouse Wilson & Logan Elmore Wilson of California.
