Age 68 of Newcomb, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at his home. He was born July 25, 1943 in Jellico, Tennessee.
Troy is preceded in death by parents Raymond & Lola Thomas Morgan. He is survived by wife Wilma Price Morgan of Newcomb; son, Randy Morgan and wife Lisa of Knoxville; daughter, Lisa Mears and husband David of Chestnut Mound, Tennessee; sister, Lena Grubb of Knoxville; three brothers, Jim Morgan of Prescott, Michigan, Ben Morgan of Memphis, Tennessee and Joe Morgan of Williamsburg, Kentucky and six grandchildren. Troy also leaves a host of friends and family to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 5-7p.m. Saturday, December 31 with funeral services starting at 7p.m. in the Jellico Church of God Mt. Assembly, Rev. Ray Landes officiating. Burial 2p.m. Sunday, January 01 in the Newcomb Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion Honor Guard.
