Mr. Lonas Ray Pennington

Age 84 of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at home.  He was born September 12, 1941, in Claiborne County, Tennessee.

     Ray is preceded in death by:

Wife: Brenda Joyce (Bowman) Pennington

Son: Bryant Allen Pennington

Mother: Mary Lee (Pennington) Osborne

Sisters: Joann Cox, Francis King, Alffie Lee Bowman

     He is survived by:

Sons: Floyd Ray Pennington, James Robert Pennington, Brian Bolton

Daughters: Sherry Lynn Pennington, Joann Michelle Pennington, Anna Marrie Ellison & husband Brian, Tiffany Pennington

A Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends: 12 - 2 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, Speedwell Freewill Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m.
