Age 79 of Powell & formerly of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center.  He was born March 27, 1946, in Jellico, Tennessee.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

     Butch is preceded in death by:

Father: George Raymond Lindsay

Mother: Anna Margaret (Brown) Lindsay

Brothers: Billy Joe Lindsay, John Paul Lindsay

Sisters: Mary Evelyn Perkins, Carolyn Collins

     He is survived by:

Son: Joey Lindsay (Amanda)

Grandchildren: Tristen (Lynzey) Lindsay, Bayley (Katie) Lindsay, Kameran (Blake) Nation, Jackson Bratton

Great Grandchildren: Liam, Grant, JJ, Waylon

Sister: Helen Louise "Jackie" Dowdy
