Son: Eddie & wife Elizabeth (Finkle) Chitwood of Warrensburg, Missouri

Grandchildren: Laura Souder & husband Ethan of Warrensburg, Missouri, Andrew Chitwood & wife Alicia of Littleton, Colorado

Great Grandchild: Madeline Souder 

Brothers: Dahlan Chitwood & wife Adalee of Cincinnati, Ohio, John Earl Chitwood & wife Darlene of Findlay, Ohio

Sisters: Irma Mason of Frankfort, Indiana, Janis Lay & husband Jim of Cincinnati, Ohio
