Mrs. Carol (Hamblin) Davis

Age 59 of Clairfield, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, surrounded by her family at Parkwest Medical Center.  She was born December 24, 1964, in Jellico, Tennessee.

Carol was a long-time member of Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she was the song leader.

Carol loved spending time with her family, serving the Lord, singing hymns, going to the beach and fishing and camping.  She always sacrificed her needs for the needs of her family.  She was so grateful for everyone that helped her throughout her sickness.  She was a CNA for many years, where she also treated her patients and co-workers like family.

     Carol is preceded in death by:

Father: John Hamblin

Mother: Mable (Webb) Hamblin

Brother: Jerry Wayne Hamblin, Eddie Hamblin

Sister: Lisa Hamblin Barnes

     She is survived by:

Husband of 45 years: Lonnie Davis

Daughter: Nikki Davis Gibson & husband Tommy, Jr.

Nieces & Nephews that were like her own children: Elisha, Nora, Amanda, Johnathan (Sarah), Matthew

Great Nieces and Great Nephew that called her Mamaw Carol: Lakien, Amelia, Braylee, Kinleigh, Kambree, Lisa, James

Brothers: Donnie Hamblin (Ellen), John Hamblin, Jr. (Darelen), Densil Hamblin (Becky)

Sisters: Peggy Hamblin Hurst (Joe), Edith Hamblin Waldroop (late husband Jake), Gearldine Hamblin Thomas (Gary), Bernice Hamblin Waldroop (Lee), Patty Hamblin Taylor (Danny), Stacy Hamblin 

A host of other nieces, nephews, family & friends that were very dear to her heart.

The family will start receiving friends at 6 p.m. Saturday, November 02, 2024, at the Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church (Clairfield)

Funeral: 1 p.m. Sunday, November 03, 2024, at the Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church

Burial: to follow in the Davis Family Cemetery (Clairfield, Tennessee).
