was born on August 19, 1942, in War, West Virgina to Robert and Edith Foster. Betty, who resided in Melvindale, Michigan, passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of Harvey Gibson for 62 years. Loving mother of Brenda (Scott) Gratopp, Harvey (Brenda) Gibson, Ronnie (Karen) Gibson, and Bill (Dorothy) Gibson. Dear sister of Reba McKenzie and Joann Cox. Dearest grandmother of Robert, Katie, Nick, Megan, Noah, Luke, Taylor, and Frankie. Loving great-grandmother of Riley, Jameson, Colt, and Leo.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edith and her brother Bill Foster. Betty will be deeply missed by family and friends
