Aislee (Rigney) Hatfield

Age 89, passed away peacefully after a long illness at her daughter’s home in Inez, KY on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1933 in Jellico, TN to the late Charles and Carrie Thomas Rigney. Aislee was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith, where she attended Trinity Holiness Tabernacle. She loved going to church, gardening, canning, cooking and quilting.

     Aislee is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carrie Thomas Rigney; her loving husband of 66 years, Fred Hatfield; one son, Danny Fred Hatfield; two grandchildren, Rhonda and Lee Hatfield; one great-great-granddaughter, Audrey Castrucci; two brothers, Winfred Rigney and RD Rigney; and three sisters, Dorothy Mayo, Juanita Floyd and Geneva Anthony.

     Aislee leaves to cherish her memory five children, Bruce and Wynona Hatfield of Cumberland; Rondall and Wanda Hatfield of Cumberland; Carole and Jim Fannin of Inez, KY; Brian and Vickie Hatfield of Cumberland; Jimmy and Teresa Hatfield of Cumberland; daughter-in-law Jean Hatfield of Cumberland; 13 grandkids, 23 great-grandkids, 5 great-great grandkids; and a host of other family and friends.

     Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 6 to 9 PM at the Trinity Holiness Tabernacle at Hiram, KY. Her funeral service will be Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 1 PM at the church with the Reverend Michael Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Old Jacob Creech Cemetery in Cumberland, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
